Agree 100%. Plus all the people who quit during Ashley’s reign are now locked out as members. Although a know a few who’ve moved on from football altogether now. I also think generally more people want to watch football now. West Ham get approx 60k every week, I think we should be able to do 65-70k if tickets were priced right for the region.

Me too. Think there's much more to come from him too.

Plus adding to Gallowgate is only going to give us more L7 seats. The East Stand being so small limits us as higher value seats can be sold there plus way more corporate seating areas.
  4. Without falling into the latter, we do have to acknowledge Bruno in particular was sold the dream of us conquering England and Europe. Whether it’s FFP or whatever, I think it’s fair to say our trajectory isn’t going to be as fast as we hoped. Fans are quick to turn on players when things don’t go well yet believe players should be so attached to the club. The reality is they have short careers that they need to make the most of and at the moment, you couldn’t blame our better players for wanting to go to Arsenal over staying with us. But if it does happen, we’ll make a profit and hopefully recycle it well like Liverpool and Spurs have done in the past.

That would be my preferred option over extending SJP. As somebody mentioned, the prospect of just more level 7 seats isn’t very appealing. A new ground where we could actively make singing areas without the legacy issues of ST holders. Plus more corporate money to help us overcome FFP restrictions. I feel like our plans to be an elite club are in danger of being watered down.

I agree, as sad as it would be to see St. James’ knocked down, it’s not going to help us get amongst the elite. Far too many restrictions to do something genuinely world class that will allow them to maximise corporate spend.
  7. Mourinho, Conte and Ancelotti were all Chelsea who had obvious financial advantage over the rest of the league. We have to build a sustainable model. This is not going to be done by shitting our pants over a bad patch and starting new time and again.
  8. The past has shown us time and again that success comes from continuity, not chopping and changing managers all the time. There needs to be some context here. Injuries, champions league before we’re ready etc. has been a strain on the squad. That said, there are concerns IMO. We’ve been rolled over far too many times, not just by top teams either. Eddie has to answer for those but his job should be guaranteed for next season at least.

    Loris Karius

Dubravka’s biggest problem has always been that he’s prone to massive errors. In the Euro’s one year he flapped a shot against the bar and then punched it in his own goal!
  10. To be fair, I don’t think anybody asked them to cancel. They just called out the ridiculous price which is fair enough IMO.
  11. I think there’s been a misunderstanding of my first post, and you missed the sarcasm of my second one. Let’s move on.
  12. The two things are completely separate IMO. You can call out a bad decision/performance when you see it without being disrespectful. Otherwise, should we all sit here sharing pleasantries after seeing us concede 4 at home to Luton?
  13. Yes, but you can’t say anything negative because you can’t play as well as they do.
  14. This is a Newcastle forum, of course Howe’s management is going to be discussed.
  15. Loved the ‘redefine fashion’ title on the email
