  1. He's not in the team because the experts have judged that he's ready. He's in the team because there are no other options. He looks ready now - despite the experts not thinking he's ready. This is my issue with some people. They act like everything is part of a master plan. If not for injury crisis Hall would be sitting on the bench getting few minutes.,
  2. Agreed. I think Howe went too cold with Hall a few months ago. I won't give him massive credit for Hall's form now because he's had no choice. I give him credit for getting the tune out of him now. I wish he had a bit more faith in the lad awhile ago. As you say - serendipity is real. Injuries have given us a run of games of what the future looks like at fullback for us and it does indeed look good. If not for injury crisis both FBs would be on the bench getting few minutes.
  3. They can keep outspending us and Villa for some time to come. Spurs spend the lowest wages-to-revenue ratio in the league I believe. Villa are right up against the limits.
  4. Think Man U are the weakest of the 4 atm. Droppoing points here and against us would seal ETH exit. Maybe even 1 dropped result will be enough.
  5. They don’t. They can still afford a huge summer spending spree because they are so far away from the upper limits of FFP currently. New laws and existing laws. Aston Villa are right up against it with the current FFP laws and the next. They need the CL money.
  6. I think I’m better positioned for GW37 but I prefer his team for GW38. If I’m not ahead by 10 points by next GW I think he wins
  7. It’s at home. Their own fans will suck the ball into the net for City. And I hear it.
  8. Ange is looking like the one dimensional tactical manager I was scared Howe might be. These lot have spent £250m on that squad the last 2 years.
  9. He’s lacking that finishing ability. Everything else about his game including his movement is very good.
  10. Forgot about Ramsey. Martinez has only missed a few games. And the regen doesn’t count man.
  11. Yeh true but they replaced starters with backups (Lenglet, the snitch - neither start). We had an opportunity to replace some of our injuries short term and decided not too.
  12. I’ve got stocks in Jackson. I think he can make it.
  13. Not as bad as us but: Mings ACL - captain and LCB starter Kamara ACL - DM starter Buendia ACL - AM starter Pau. Carlos. Konsa. The first choice LB. All missed chunks of the season. + European football in May. Spurs haven’t had the serious injuries but Maddison, Richarlison, Van De Ven, Bentancur - that spine of the side have all had injuries. We’ve obviously had the worst injuries in the league. But neither Villa or Spurs have been particularly lucky with injuries. Arsenal have though. Partey, Jesus and Timber aside - they’ve had good luck with injuries. Jesus isn’t even in their strongest team.
  14. Both have suffered badly at times with injuries too. It’s Arsenal who have kept a good core fit throughout the season.
