Aye, glad PIF stayed away from forming a partnership with them. They had red flags all over, even before their move for Everton. Just a group of chancers punting everything they have into football, hoping it will pay off, like a nerdy kid trying make crypto investments work.

This, if we could get £10m-£15m for him, then that would pay for the first year of a £50m replacement where the costs are amortised over a 5 year contract. We are then starting to look at the likes of Jonathan David who is at Lille and will only have a year left on his contract come the summer.

I think this is fair. They bring out some absolute stunning ones, but a lot are quite forgettable, especially towards the end of their time here the last time. As others have said though, I guess it’s their quality standards, their distribution network, and their offering outside of shirts. If they do a remake of the classics, then again that will make many fans very happy.
