  1. Fair enough, all of the stuff you've said there will doubtless help raise revenues and feel all swanky vs what we've got now, but it's of zero interest to me personally as a non-rich fan of a team with a ground in its city centre.
  2. Aye I'm not saying Wembley is a good ground, I'm saying that's a new ground I've been to. And asking if anyone has been to a new ground and been bowled over by the atmosphere. Everyone always points to Spurs' ground, is the atmosphere that great there? Even so, the ratio seems pretty poor if that's the only good example anyone ever gives.
  3. Has anyone who is dead set on a new stadium actually experienced an amazing atmosphere in a new ground? Beside loving SJP that is one of the main aspects making me reluctant to move. Been to the new Wembley a few times and it's a nice day out and everything but feels soulless. I'd hate for us to go full steam ahead into a new stadium build and end up in a venue that felt horribly artificial, looking back at what we've lost when there's no going back. That said I'm torn because I do feel we could fill 70-80k even during dodgy seasons if the pricing is right.
  4. Context is important like. We matched them first half, second half we were resolutely protecting a lead. Probably retreated too early as Isak said post-match. We had played Chelsea 3 days earlier, had no viable subs to bring on and Isak was hobbling around. PSG hadn't managed to break us down before getting a penalty that was beyond dodgy. Personally I think we'd have sealed the deal second half with something resembling a squad.
  5. how is that not just a Bob Mortimer character?
  6. Why are they even thinking of getting rid of Poch, man? He's a very good coach, trying to work it out with a disjointed mish mash of young players. Just let him get on with it. They always want the latest shiny thing man, such a joke club.
  7. Lo Celso is Argentinian innit, so them lot and the Brazilians get carte blanche to do whatever they like to each other cos ructions.
  8. Hello baldness, my old friend
  9. I'm usually really positive but if we're going to go into another one of these periods where we have 11 or 12 decent players to choose from each game then we'll struggle to pick up the points we'd expect. You need a squad to keep the starting lineup fresh, to switch things tactically in game, to see out games. Fed up with the season now tbh, can't seem to catch a break. Can't see us achieving much consistency til we have at least 14 or 15 proper players to share the workload, for a prolonged period.
