Why do we have to suffer Longstaff??

Sheffield United are done as far as staying up is concerned. They've got zero chance. They've got 3 wins all season. They'd need to win 4 in a row and hope that Forrest get no more than a single point. They may already be playing as a relegated team now. But wether that means they'll collapse completely or play with a bit more freedom is anyone's guess.

The contact is clearly enough to change his balance and stop the shot. It's a penalty because it's obviously "contact with consequence". But again rules are only suggestions to Premier League officials and they can just decide to ignore them if they want the result to go the other way.

I'm glad Forrest have said that. Somebody has too when it's so blatantly corrupt. I just hope they mean it and it's not just some crazy twitter loon at the club gone rogue, which unfortunately it probably is. The argument that no matter how much you're cheated you must simply be dignified, swallow it and move on, is frankly bullshit.

Even if you decide it's outside the area after looking at 20 replays, how is that a obvious mistake by the ref?? Again they just make the rules up as they go to benefit whoever they want.

As soon as we scored all I was thinking is what will the VAR check say.. it's fucking ruining the game completely. You can't celebrate at all, you know there's going to be minutes of checks for any possible reason to disallow it. Every single time without fail if the ref goes over he backs the VAR, so it's quite obvious the ref is second fiddle to VAR. I was fine with VAR for contentious decisions. But this is utterly pathetic and slowly ending my desire to even watch anymore. Oh here's another VAR check coming for Bruno's goal..

Happens game after game and never ever gets given but of course it does against us.. Absolutely nowhere near the ball as well. Ball wasn't even visible in the VAR replay, that's how far it was from the incident.
