Cracking idea for a one off. I would love to see Dublin get it, I don't see why one of these can't host a game:

They forgot to stop building the goalposts.

I think it'll be fine. Many more fans will now get a chance to watch the Euros, although the lack of a host city might reduce the excitement level of each match. It also won't come with infrastructure investments oft associated with hosting large sporting occasions, which will be a shame. But in general its not a bad idea and if the logistics are devised correctly (each group games happening in a small designated region etc) then it could actually be very exciting for the locals of all those regions, something which is currently impossible.

Croker is class. I imagine the FAI would want it in the Aviva though.

In terms of distance, etc. is it any different to the World Cup being held in USA again?

As someone else said, it gives cities such as Dublin, Cardiff, etc. a chance to host these things.

Surely a joint Wales/Scotland/Ireland bid vould have sorted that out.

That'd be a nice tournament tbh.
