Other clubs' transfers

He great irony is that they’ve broken the rules on bringing in players they’ll never fucking play.

It’s a travesty that these larger clubs can afford to dominate and hoover up young talent to the extent that a lot of the smaller clubs are ending their provisions for youth squads. Mate of mine is an FA education inspector and said that even PL clubs like Huddersfield are struggling to justify running youth teams.

 And our best youngsters never play, so their development is fucked.  The likes of RLC should be a PL regular at 23.

Genuinely think there should be a limit on squad sizes / youth players on the books / loans, to put an end to this.  But it's the rich, powerful clubs at it so if they're not complaining then the governing bodies reckon they're doing their job properly.

Agreed.

Something like 35 players 22 and over on a clubs books.

Anymore and they must be released.

Like clockwork, the 'English football is great' narrative is back. The reverse us true when no English teams progress to the latter stages of the CL. It's almost like it's a knockout tournament where the amount of teams rest progress from a particular nation has no bearing on that league's quality.

Reports that Alberto Moreno is close to joining Barcelona

He’ll be a decent squad player for when they need to rest Alba -  played well in La Liga before

Probably means they want to loan Miranda out to get valuable first team experience
