Negotiating a contract with Boehly is a dream for most footballers. He’s the biggest mug in the sport.

I have wondered if teams are petty enough to do that. Because I would definitely respond by enquiring about Saka or Odegaard.

The fees being talked about give me confidence it’s all just big 6 fan service. Looking at the price other players have been going for, I see no chance of anyone getting him for under £120m. Plus it’s only Arsenal, there are clubs out there that would concern me more.

Is it really that shocking that a football club is less orderly than a chemicals company? Every time I see anything from this guy there’s hints that he’s a bit thick.

Rashford looks like an odd player these days. If the effort was there but it just wasn’t working for him, I’d say a move to a different team could turn things around. But he plays like some office worker that has quiet quit. After hearing about Dele Ali’s problems I wonder if there’s something deeper going on with him.

Salah looks like his legs are going IMO, I doubt you get a strong full season out of him again. He’s ruined fantasy football for me.

Weird if they really only offered £2m. I assume Rattledcliffe wants to show everyone he’s a tough negotiator, and an opening bid is expected to be low, but if they do want him then they’ll have to at least quadruple that bid, which would make him look like a shit negotiator.
