Like watching two borderline relegation teams slog it out

Borderline???

On the assumption that there’s a least a few worse.

Commentator telling us that Bruce must be livid because we’re not on the front foot and pulling out of challenges

We're not on the front foot because Bruce will be confused as to how to set his team up at home after last week's success away at Spurs. I predicted it in the pre-match thread.

Bruce is just another Pardew, he'll keep juggling formations after every defeat because he really has no idea. He himself has said he doesn't do formations.

Are we actually sat back as much as we were at Spurs, for this home game against Watford who is at the bottom with us?! Not watching the game so can't see.

I must admit I thought Bruce may just go with the same approach even against lesser teams.

How many diagonals have been Schar to Atsu/Willems compared to the opposite by the way? So easy to defend against.

Just as I say that, Dummett floats a beautiful 70 yard ball into Ben Foster. This is why I don't rate Dummett in these sort of games and it's not some agenda.

I'm not watching it, that was just my opinion before the game, that Bruce would have no idea how to switch up a gear after winning with a backs to the wall performance based on Rafa's set up. From the reports at the ground it sounds like we are really struggling to get on the front foot so only confirms Bruce's absolute incompetence for me.

Probably the most empty seats I've seen at St James' in a PL game. Seems the boycotting is working, particularly given the win at Spurs. Strange like, as all I ever read from the groups and protesters is how fans won't stop going to games regardless and there'll be 48k there every week. Well it appears they have stopped going in significant numbers.

Yeah, it's not surprising really. But still just so pathetic.

Just saying, it would be canny to hear them show a bit appreciation and acknowledge the visible progress being made.

Looking forward to seeing how many the club claim they have sold, no way will they have sold 1k this morning so the official attendance should be under 45k
