  1. Last 3 games we've won, we've played with 3 different formations and game plans. 5 at the back V Spurs, usual 433 at home v Sheff Utd and 442 today. Nailed it each time. Brilliant coach like, unreal how he can implement ideas so quickly.
  2. Thought Hall, Burn and Murphy were really good today. Burns tackle in particular at 0-0 was massive. Once we went 1-0 up Longstaff and Bruno were in control. Actually think Krafth is a better centre half than full back. Though Livramento was a bit off it today, not as solid defensively and a lack of cutting edge going forward. Hey ho. Burnley are shite, and 4-4-2 was the right choice today by Howe, as they couldn't cope with us in the final third. Don't want to see us playing it against a better team though, Longstaff and Bruno don't have the legs for a two.
  3. Following on from the manager 5 a side team yesterday, whats the best XI of footballers in their prime, ever to play for us at some point? Given Trippier Campbell Woodgate Pearce Beardsley Gascoigne Keegan Waddle Rush Shearer Quite attacking heavy. A couple in there who were possibly the best in the world at a point in time.
  4. Did enjoy Stokes time in the PL with their unique style of hoofball
  5. Nowhere to play in the mean time is the issue. Murrayfield possibly the closest, feasible option but that would be a nightmare.
  6. Was about one game away from the sack at one point this season. There's almost a negative new manager bounce these days while coaches get players implementing their philosophy. Iraola, we were slow with Howe, Glasner took a while to get going at Palace.
  7. One game as a caretaker in 96/97 after Keegan flounced, would have him in on a technicality if we weren't already stacked in midfield.
  8. Terry Mac unlucky to miss out with his 3 European cups
  9. If PSR is what it is, and we have no wiggle room in the market then he might have to go. Which is bullshit in itself but we can't carry on with this squad really. If he's going to go, he should go early in the window, allowing us to rebuild. He's irreplaceable really. We've seen Liverpool spend 60m on Szoboszlai who's been underwhelming. Players like Bruno and hit the ground running don't come along unless you're lucky, but maybe improvements to other areas of the team soften the blow, and we might be better off for it longer term all in all. Absolutely no guarantee we'd spend it wisely like. A Spurs situation, where they spunked the Bale money on absolute dross, would be a disaster.
  10. Dubravka Livramento Schar Burn Hall Longstaff Bruno Anderson Gordon Isak Barnes Please, no Krafth or Murphy. Hall is ready to play against one of the worst teams ever to play in the PL.
