Dokko Posted June 19, 2013 Share Posted June 19, 2013 Don't see why people are celebrating that we didnt get him, not when our only real striker won't wear the clubs top and wants either more money or to leave. One things for certain, if he was fit he'd get us plenty of goals and could be the difference of us staying up or going down. Lets see if we can attract a striker as good as him (then celebrate) or end up now with Carlton Cole. Carroll was quick enough to leave after wanting more money off us so he's far worse than Cisse in that regard. Delighted he's not coming back. There's some incredible numbers floating around for someone so average and injury prone. Lets see a bid come in for Cisse first before stating such things like. It wasn't a comparison, it was me looking at our striking options and the only one decent enough could leave at any time. If that were to happen I'd be a lot happier knowing Carroll was here. He's an ideal Big Sam player and in many ways more than good enough for West Ham but any club aspiring to be a top side would never use him in the first team on a regular basis.
