  1. Hebburn lost 1-0, so it comes down to the final day. Hebburn away to 11th placed Sheffield FC, Stockton away to 7th placed Belper. Belper lost 3-0 tonight (and now can't make the playoffs) and they play again on Thursday, so that might impact them come Saturday. Dunston and Pontefract both won tonight (Dunston won away at Carlton), so they will play each other in the playoffs, but the venue TBC - not sure if Dunston are back at their own ground yet? One of Stockton or Hebburn will be at home to Carlton, and the other promoted.
  2. 4-0 now, but Leicester have just gone 2-0 up at a similar time, so both main televised games are likely over as a contest.
  3. I don't mind watching matches that aren't that competitive when the team I was to win are comfortable, so may keep this on, and hope Arsenal get a couple more just to rubber stamp our GD advantage over Chelsea. It was 8 before this this match, and currently 11, so that should be 'worth a point' at the end of the season. Leicester currently 1-0 on Southampton, so I might switch over to that.
  4. Hebburn currently a goal down after 60 mins, could be a lifeline for Stockton. Hebburn might need to get a result at the oldest club in the world (Sheffield FC) on the final day, although hopefully they turn it around here.
  5. I assume 1 leg with the higher ranked side at home, incl the final?
  6. 19 years man. I remember reading the Sunday Sun back in the day and seeing them in bold in what was then known as the Unibond League.
  7. Bishops 3 up at half time so their promotion should be confirmed at full time, baring some extraordinary circumstances.
  8. Cracking match Gromit. 2-2 after only 30 mins. Latte Lath with yet another goal. Decent finish.
  9. I don't think so. Think they did splash a bit in January to try and get over the line, but their budget won't be up there with the big hitters.
  10. Leeds potentially not getting promoted could affect Boro next season. You'd expect all of Leicester, Leeds, and Southzmpton to be right up there next season if they were to miss out this year (even if LC have a points deduction), whereas Ipswich could finish 16th or 17th next season and not many would bat an eyelid, so probably mote beneficial for those hoping to get promoted next season to get Leeds out of the way here.
  11. Hopefully Boro can get something tonight. I know they're season is effectively done but I'm quite surprised they are nearly 4/1 to win. They are unbeaten in 9, at home, and Leeds haven't exactly been firing on all cylinders recently.
