  1. I'd be very surprised based on how we've played most of the season.
  2. Fans will always be up and down depending on current form. I would have thought the club will have taken into account this season has been a freak one for injuries and suspensions so they aren't going to judge on the basis of one campaign. My impression has always been that they trust Howe implicitly, especially since he was to all intents and purposes the DoF for a year before Ashworth rocked up. That said, some questions will be there about tactics, use of the squad and if it could have been handled better. We'll have a full squad to play with next time round, and how we perform next season is what Howe will be judged on. Even so PIF would be very reluctant to sack him given the amount of dedication and hard work he's put in. I mean, who would you bring in that would be guaranteed to do a better job?
  3. At least they're not winning this one.
  4. Players like Garnacho and Hojlund are genuinely good signings among all the dross they've accumulated.

    Alexander Isak

    That's subjective not objective.

I literally said let's just agree to disagree, and you then insisted it was me who was wrong because you'd watched it with your own eyes.
  7. I think everything depends on how this summer goes re transfers, and also how we start next season. This season has felt like a write off since the January window, but obviously if we can get into Europe that will give all our players including Bruno a lift.

Yeah I looked it up as well with mine. Maybe you just lack vision.

Let's just agree to disagree. I thought if Almiron looked up and played it earlier, he could have passed inside the defender.

I thought there was a chance to hit the ball inside the defender rather than outside which would have put Isak running onto the ball instead of sideways. Even if he traps the ball - which he did - he still needs to turn to face the goal. Maybe he could have incorporated his first touch with a swivel to get him in, I think that's a question which could be asked, but it would have been a real piece of skill if he'd pulled it off.
  11. I thought he was really good yesterday, there won't be any shortage of takers if we have to sell. Hopefully next season the squad will be better equipped to deal with injuries, and of course hopefully we won't have anywhere near as many.

    Sean Longstaff

Good move for everyone, not too far from home so Sean won't feel too homesick. Here's hoping Leeds get promoted.

The pass was straight at him, because of that it needed an extra touch to set the shot up, and it would have needed to one of those first touches which got Isak a quarter turn to face the goal. It was on, but not the easiest to pull off. I always think Isak is most dangerous when he's running onto a through ball.
