It's a shame that he couldn't finish what he started, but that'll hopefully still set them back a few years at least.

Pochettino would be a good fit for Man U IMO. With the players they've got, they need a manager who will give them licence to attack.

I'd prefer Carrick for the rest of the season and take the time to appoint the right person.

Aye, it's not like Carrick has been giving the job with top 4 in mind or you're struggling against relegation. There's no real pressure for him to succeed, if it goes well then great but if it doesn't then who cares really?

I'd really like to see someone like Howe be given a chance but I don't think they will.
