Protests and that

I like true faith. Alex and this podcast guys do a great job with the podcast. Last thing we need is for the fans to be even more divided than we already are.

I don't know like, they're prone to some wonderful exaggeration. Every time we win a game they think we're going to get into Europe. They were saying top 6 clubs should sign Diame towards the end of last season as well

I didn’t hear that but I’ll be amazed if they were being serious

I listened a couple of times but they exaggerate to the point of satire tbh and there's no insight or anything really, which is what I look for in football podcasts.

Dunno anything about them, I'm sure they're sound as fuck, but MM is a fucking embarrassment.

Just remembered when he did his own walk out time as well because it wasn't about him. I suppose it was always the danger with bringing different groups together. Exactly the reason that SP and AO stayed anonymous and didn't involve that knacker.

Some of them are decent IMO, especially as I haven't got any other NUFC podcasts to listen to. If anyone has any that are good, I'd love to hear them tbh.

All with smiling faces (gallowgate shots) is good

To be fair they are still targeting Sports Direct which I'm guessing Ashley would have liked to have prevented as well. With the way our fans are who wouldn't even miss 11 minutes of the start of a match, the boycott was never going to be in big enough numbers to notice anyway so this works well for all involved. Hopefully the Sports Direct protests are as large as before.

I think after True Faith broke ranks this was inevitable. I doubt people within TMG actually wanted to do this really.

This, they were definitely forced into a corner.

People can still boycott anyway, they don't need their permission.

People love to criticize everything mind.

Seems perfectly sensible to wait until after the window closes. If the club isn't sold and players aren't bought protests will renew with some vigour and I'm sure more people will be willing to join in.

Meh, don’t mind this I just think the numbers boycotting would be barely noticeable after the poor showing for the walk in and people can always still boycott if they want.

Let’s hope if Ashley isn’t gone by Feb and has once again spent fuck all in the window the numbers would be massive

Then again he could sack Rafa and put Ronald McDonald in the dugout, we would still have 40k support the teamers turn up

I said it before, the Wolves boycott was too soon and pretty much forced on TMG by fans at the meetings who kept calling for a boycott and saying any action other than a boycott wouldn’t work. The idea that TMG were trying to gently ease some fans onboard was lost on people, and I think the Shirebrook (which was cancelled due to low numbers) and the walk in last week just showed how a boycott simply is too soon and TMG need to do more work to get fans onside first.

With Ashley and various media outlets saying a sale is close then people are going to want to go and cheer on Newcastle, hoping a decent result will be followed by good news, and yes that’s even after what happened last year. If we don’t have hope then we have nothing, and that’s what fans are doing right now, hoping. With TF breaking ranks it also puts us in an impossible position, TMG have always tried to unite fans instead of divide them, if suddenly it looks like one of the supporting groups of TMG have divided with us then it’s not a good view.

Not only this, but if all of this is smoke and mirrors and Rafa isn’t backed in January after a sale has failed to happen, then there will be a lot of disappointed and angry fans who will be more willing to turn to TMG, and TMG can use this to ramp up the protests and get the Huddersfield boycott going.
