I love how during things like this there are people talking about burning bridges, the relationship between the clubs turning sour...in a multi-billion pound industry that's entire reason for being is competition, on and off the field. We weren't mates when we wanted Lingard and there was a daft take-it-or-leave-it loan fee for him, and we're not now.

Absolute joke

KDB has only a couple this season. Think Alvarez and Silva will have more.
-
The trouble with Brighton is, they try to walk it out.
-
Give over man, you're the one that cracks and says stuff like this at the first sign of pressure
-
Rings true again. Lie with dogs and you'll get fleas. Applies to other areas of the club too.

He falls like someone's unplugged him from the matrix

It had all the force of faith healing man. You can see him decide to go down (unconvincingly) as it's happening. He's terrible at it.
-
It was on Longstaff, of course it wasn't an actual pen. Gust of wind could come in and he'd go down and lose the ball.
-
Said it ages ago but Liverpool were never contenders this season like. They've never looked really good.
-
He's not wrong though. It wasn't immediately a bad performance, we looked okay then grew into playing bad, then nearly out of it, then stayed in it. It's a throwaway comment anyway.

No one will ever learn to have a bit of humility man. -
Tbf to Murphy, he was targeted more than anyone in terms of pressing, without much support at all, and his options were often back down the line to a (being pressed) Krafth, or blindly inside hoping that Longstaff would be there.

Thought he tried and had moments where it looked like he was going to do something but ultimately didn't have a great night. The midfield aside from Bruno didn't have what it takes tonight, but it's not something I'd judge him too harshly on, our front 3 were poor too.

Not sure exactly what went wrong, just that it did. Having said that it's not the only factor, there were some poor performances out there and Palace pressed well.
