why do i feel like i did when i booked and paid for transits for away games, to then try and get money from pissed up mates for the van and petrol,... i think i will keep out of it.

None of us will be pissed up though.

In fact, in the lead-up to this event, lots of reminders and PM's to make sure people have a fiver with them to pay for the venue are needed.

And could someone update the title and OP with these developments? A "see OP" in the title would be useful too.

a simple, if you dont bring a fiver you wont be playing should suffice, then its just a matter of getting 22 people there

It could work, but for those unable to do that, they still should be able to pay on the day.

as mentioned earlier, there's a couple of decent ones at the top of coach lane, on the way to the metro...maybe a 10minute walk from the pitches (or shotgun a lift with one of the drivers!).

as for paying, would prefer the simple act of bringing a fiver and giving it to whoever as I step onto the pitch (it's gated).

yup, probs wouldnt take too much off a fiver but easier to just say dont pay dont play imo, whoever pays upfront is gonna make a tenner at least
