  1. loki679[/member] OK.... you got me well played sir. I don't know why I can't change my ways but I just love this board so much man and I'm a passionate lad. I wasn't as bothered about been away when I was full of apathy under Bruce but I wanted to be part of this new era but that doesn't even seem like it's on the cards to me now And I wouldn't have had to come back if I wasn't forced to. Hopefully I can have a chance to change my ways from been a tedious bellend. If not we will meet again in the future hopefully post covid and as the richest club in the world and me as a reformed lad
  2. Most obtuse take I've seen on this whole saga. You're a delight So because I'm not hysterical and going along with thinking it is going to be announced this week I'm someone else and getting shot down. Give it 2-3 weeks and you will see what I have said has turned out to be true. People expecting it to be done this week for some strange strange reason and they never seem to learn the lesson of getting burnt all the times in the past it's been "this week". It's likely they have done F all on this and we are in for a long wait. Laugh and say what you want but when this shitshow is still rumbling on in mid June you will see I'm talking sense
  3. "Project restart" has to be announced this week doesn't it? That's one obstacle out the way then they can finally start to answer the 3 simple questions they need on this takeover the useless bunch. Didn't someone say the PL only have a handful of lawyers? They were all probably tied up on project restart. I reckon they have done next no work at all on this yet and they will start on it this week. So I'm expecting it to be to be about 4/5 weeks or so from then until we get a decision.
  4. roll on 30th June when this farce is still dragging on and people will see. We are weeks away unfortunately
  5. Did you not watch the documentary? They were losing money left right and centre, had to pay three times as much as they wanted to spend to get Will Griggs. I vaguely recall Mathven saying they needed £17million income to break even per year (which they weren’t on course to do) and I believe he said the Checkatrade prize money was £2m. So yeah, it would have been a big financial windfall for a club that desperately needed it. No it wouldn't I get that making the final would have got some decent revenue from ticket sales but winning or losing it was apparently 100k difference. A drop in the ocean for the state they were in. They were going on like it was the champions league final
  6. I'm going to put it out there that this still somehow won't be resolved by 30th June. Bookmark it
  7. How the hell would it have been financially huge if they won the checkatrade trophy ffs
  8. Watching the finale of sunlun till I die. Jesus Christ I can't get over the way they were carrying on about the checkatrade final Acting like it's the FA cup final! Small time as it gets
  9. A poll would be good to see what the consensus is now. A)It will happen in the next 2 weeks B)It will happen but take 2 weeks plus C)It wont happen
  10. Of course. Time will tell. I obviously hope I'm wrong like but let's see what transpires in the next 9 days.
  11. It's almost like what I said 2 weeks ago about it been sat in a folder largely untouched on a desk whilst they work on project restart is right. This one is going to run and run. Expect it to still be running into late mid June at least Can they just do that though when you've got £300m plus riding on it? No sympathy for Ashley, but say for example he was waiting for this money to help stabilise his other businesses during this time, they can't just put it on the back burner because they don't know when football is going to restart? Same from a buyer perspective. They'll want to get cracking on hunting out new staff, players, facilities, etc. It appears they have though to me. Which is why this will still be unresolved in 2/3 weeks time despite people thinking it is imminent. I'd love it to go through this week but it's just not going to happen. What a f***ing pessimist you are, all your posts continually try and throw a wet blanket on the takeover. I'm not a pessimist. A realist. I've been refreshing this page for 6 weeks almost non stop and thinking of nothing else. I take my dogs for a walk and it's all I can think of. I'm desperate. However, it doesn't matter how much I or we want it to happen this week when in reality that's likely not going to be the case. It's pointless people getitng worked up for a certain date then being dissapointed as it passes with no news like the other weeks have. They have clearly not even made much progress with this as I have said. Honestly man You keep laughing at what I say despite all the evidence lining up with my posts. Will you be laughing when it's not done in 2 weeks time still? Or maybe give some credence to what I have said? No evidence at all just made up in your mind. It's my oppinion from what has happened, or not as is the case so far. Certainly looks more likely to me that it will be unresolved still in 2 weeks time than it is to be announced by 1st June. Time will tell.
  12. I’m convinced he’s a mackem. You can have a photo of my NUFC badge tattoo if you like?

  14. I’m convinced he’s a mackem. Don't be silly. I just don't want to see people have their hopes ruined yet again this week due to the premier leagues incompetence.
