What happened to all the consciousness objectors to the Saudi takeover? None of them interested in their new player? Hey this is your club!

Rafalove

Triggs

This is your guy, so give some support.

You've turned into a pathetic poster over this takeover.  Give over.

Poached a regular utility premier league player from a team which finished 10 points above us last season on a free is ok business. Obviously need more, but decent start.

Yeah, this is just the beginning.

He's our 'Robinho' signing.

It was underrated how terrible he was beforehand also

Based on only short highlights of him, he looks decent on the ball with decent passing. Similar to Shelvey, and therefore this sounds like a masterstroke by Brucey.

Was surprised watching his highlights. Looks like he's got more to him than a bog standard midfielder.

Appears he got fed up of being shunted out wide and wants to play centrally.

Nah he wouldn't have near the range of Shelvey in his passing but is a lot more mobile

Yeah, definitely looks good on the ball and can carry it well.

Well.. I didn't say or imply that. You can still be a good passer without hitting long/hollywood balls.

He’s going to be no different to all the other bang average non entity midfielders we have had over the years. Can’t wait.

These are the types of players I expected Bruce to get to put his stamp on things. Bang average and no great improvement on what we already have. If anything we need a dynamic midfielder, striker, right back and left back and sell some of the shit. I get there will have to be concessions made due to last few months etc (£100 million TV money still) but aim fucking higher, rather give Longstaff extended run. If we just want to maintain our current position or fight relegation a little bit you don't need to bring him in just keep the mediocre shit we already have.

Tbh we have a fair bit of that now with Atsu, Saivet, Lazaar, Yedlin?, Murphy, Muto. We can add Krafth, Hendrick, Smalling etc to that as well is signed along with Gayle, Ritchie and Joelinton in next 2 years.

I got the signing players with potential as long as we also bought decent older players but we have saddled ourselves with some shit younger players that haven't developed or now older average players we won't be able to shift
