  1. No clue what all these tapa-cunts are tapa-talking about, but the forum is great
  2. Depends on who they are playing really. As a par standard, Man City's football is good to watch as they've so many quality players that enhance their style. Enjoy watching them really when they play against teams that try and go toe-to-toe with them more, meaning City have to lift their performance even more - Shaktar at home, Napoli games, and Spurs games were all fantastic to watch. There is not always that incentive their to lift their football to incredible standards when they can pass the ball around between them, and kill the game off, then just lift in when they get into decent chances.
  3. Can't be the only one that would love to see West Ham drop, so could be decent news if Southampton can have a little lift whilst WH are in a tale spin. Wouldn't mind Palace or Stoke going down with them tbh. WBA, WHU and Stoke would be my ideal three to get fucked No PL game until 31st, away at West Ham. So if board have done it right, and found someone ready to come in quick, they could have decent amount of time to prepare and get that 'manager lift' going. Win in cup against Wigan wouldn't be worst of starts either.
  4. No way Jokanovic leaves play off chasing, on fire, Fulham for Saints with 8 games left, surely? Aye that was my reaction. Wouldn't be worst of appointments, would rather him than Hughes if I was Saints fan. Bound to be offered better deal than what he's on at Fulham (even if they do go up), plus decent bonus if he keeps them up would be a draw. Yeah - you'd deffo take him if you were a Saints fan but he'd be mad to risk it imho. Would break Mitro's heart if he left. Sold a dream, given a lie :'( 8 games is enough time for anyone coming in to turn that around, and keep them up. As things stand their not even in bottom 3, no way cut adrift, and enough teams around there still for them to still be alive. Tough set of fixtures goes against them though, but any manager will back themselves to have an effect. We managed to draw Rafa at same time of the season

  6. Puel's sacking was more political/contractual than actual league performance. Have a few Southampton friends and whilst they always thought the football was boring as hell - especially at home - they we're happy enough with what he was doing there. Texted couple of them, neither want Hughes, Jokanovic from Fulham seems a decent shout
  7. Recon Man City would still be able to beat most teams in the league if they played against 12 men. Pep still not taken the label off his coat either, had it on there in Chelsea game
  8. Will get a leaked video in a couple of weeks with Carra saying he may as well have gobbed right in her face for the outcry
  9. Never brought into him being to total key for Man City that's been sold for the past few years. Decent defender, and seems a real leader and nice guy, but there have been far better actual defenders around, and he has played his part in being fairly shit when City had their bad moments last couple of seasons.
  10. About to pick up on that. There's a beautiful symmetry to a radio station playing the "best of British" flashing up on Stoke's advertising boards. Yet only one English player starting for them
  11. Clearly missing something here, but can anyone explain when/why he was crying before?
  12. Anybody ever think, or worry that Ashley/Charnley will eventually cut ties with Rafa, should he not choose to leave us to go to another club.. Not in the sense that he'll be sacked, as I don't think he'd really ever find himself in a position were this board will sack him, let alone the fans ever hound him out. More the sense that he'll be offered, or pressured into a lower contract - and Rafa will be somewhat forced out, or just leave at the end of a contract...
  13. Man City's most expensive £1330, cheapest £299
  14. Might be just me, but I could enjoy MNF to the same level as previously tonight, next week or whenever with him on it still knowing and viewing what he did. He's apologies to the people that needed to be apologies to. Not going to be so abhorred at seeing his face on my TV that I'd switch off, cancel a subscription or have any less merit for his analyses and views on the game. Anyone who really is needs to take a look at their own outlook on life.
