    Sholagol really...
  1. I honestly think it doubled overnight (as you say). Buying us was a no brainer for anyone. The way Ashley ran it was just bizarre from a business perspective. He did well out of it, obviously, but it was so simple to do well out of it and increase the value at the same time. Weird.
  2. Can't see Howe wanting to work with Ashworth again, and probably vice versa. As I say, it'll be Southgate. If by any miracle it isn't, it'll be Potter.
  3. Same. I live down here so i'm surrounded by them, they'll be absolutely gutted if it's him. So naturally i'm praying that it is!
  4. it'll be Southgate or Potter for man utd. In that order imo.
  5. Chris T asked: Afternoon David, is there any further update on Newcastle’s search for Dan Ashworth’s replacement? Ornstein: It’s at an advanced stage, Chris, but not yet complete. The process is being led by a recruitment firm and no doubt there will be differing preferences across the ownership group. They will want to reach a consensus pretty soon and then it will be about trying to strike a deal for their chosen candidate and getting them in the building. If that happens before an agreement is reached with Manchester United on Ashworth, it will be interesting to see if their strong stance on him remains or softens.
  6. not to mention Joelinton for the left.
  7. I think Gibbs White will be the primary target, personally.
  8. Not a chance i'd sell Joelinton.
  9. Could be 2+2=5 but Man Utd have announced their current Ashworth equivalent is leaving, could be that we're getting close to seeing the end of this saga.
