  1. If the long term vision for Eddie is to stick with more of a CB type at left full then I suppose there is a chance that Hall could be moved on but I don't think it makes a lot of sense this summer. Even if Eddie doesn't really fancy him, surely it would make more sense to send him out on loan for a year to a team that plays with a very attacking LB, let him showcase his talents more than he has this season.
  2. Mbappe should have scored there like.
  3. Olise is class. His injuries this year and the likely price tag do make me a bit hesitant but if we can save money by getting the likes of Tosin and Kelly for free then it would be a hell of an addition.
  4. Well I for one think Beth's point was excellent and made a lot of sense.
  5. Guler on a permanent deal seems like pie in the sky but a season long loan may make sense. He's at an age where playing regularly seems important, they might think a season in the Premier League would be good for his development rather than coming off the bench all season. Might make a lot of sense for us if we're tight for funds and need to spend elsewhere. Would allow us to send Minteh out on loan for another year too if we think that's what is needed.
  6. I mean, I'm very much fine with that. I don't demand a club that wins, I just want a club that's allowed to try.
  7. Having a sneaking suspicion that if he'd gone to Arsenal instead of Chelsea he'd have been quality.
  8. The Spurs fans in the corner absolutely screaming abuse at Rice in the lead up to the corner and him turning to them and giving it back the second the ball hit the net was class. Had to be so fucking satisfying
  9. Just had a look and I was surprised by how much of an obvious foul I thought it was, given the debate it's causing Very clearly cynically shoves Carlos in the back to move him out of position. Wasn't a clash in an attempt to challenge for the ball, he blatantly plays the man. I'd be all up for removing VAR mind, it's such shite even if I do think the right decision has ultimately been reached in this instance.
  10. Seems like the kind of lad who if an offer was accepted from Man City might go and talk to them about a contract solely so he could post the DiCaprio "I'm not fucking leaving!" clip on social media

There was enough contact to warrant a penalty, I think. Problem was that it didn't quite knock Longstaff down and by the time he did actually fall it was a very clear dive. Think if he goes down immediately as the grab spins him then it gets given. Issue is basically that Longstaff is shite and can't even dive properly.

    Sean Longstaff

He's mediocre in such an annoying way to watch. Great energy and movement of the ball, gets into some great positions as result. He's just fucking useless with the ball at his feet though and I can't wait until I don't have to watch him anymore. There was a decent bit of contact on the penalty shout but you could almost see the moment he thought to himself there was contact and he should fling himself to the ground.
  13. I think it's genuinely lovely that @midds has been referring to Liz Hurley as his dream woman on here for what must be over 20 years. He's never wavered let the eye wander towards a Knightley, Kunis or de Armas. In a throw-away society consumed with the pursuit of the new, he sets an example we can all learn something from, I feel.
  14. Masters the puppet, they're pulling his strings Twisting the rules to suit Sky 6 teams.
  15. Tbf Tonali is gonna be banned for the first couple of games, isn't he?
