  1. let me add more on this. I think the key reason why Eddie won the battle is because he arrived 6 months earlier than Ashworth, hence the club in fact has been running under Eddies vision / setup already. It is very difficult for Ashworth get his power back. Of course Eddies magnificent season result also matters. Thats why I have been asking Froggy what’s the point of not paying the compensation and wait for the 18 months, if Man Utd really wants Ashworth to lead the system restructuring work. That’s what he is good at (according to media anyway) and no way Man Utd would just stall all the restructuring works and wait for him. Instead Man Utd would just assign the other executives like Wilcox to lead the restructuring project. Ashworth would either just be given up (Man Utd took back the contract) or become just part of the new system designed by others, instead of being the one that has the controlling power. Yes, history repeats.
  2. that’s my wild guess as well
  3. first of all we need to have funds allowed to spend under FFP
  4. Pretty impressive that we manage to perform even worse than first half
  5. I just hope we can keep the defence effort up and don’t go back to the days where we just gift opponents free cheap goals like primary school students As long as the defence is fine, we would be heading to the right direction, no matter we are 5th or 6th or even 10th.
  6. No way they could afford him under FFP. If they can, we must be able to do the same
  7. Finally we looked like in control of the game since November. Great comeback
  8. Seriously what’s the point of keep playing Bruno and Isak now? Sub them off plz
