  1. Where is this confidence we're getting Digne coming from on here? I've seen us linked along with about 5 other PL clubs, one of which is Chelsea. Have i missed something?
  2. Terrible source but linked with Coutinho again: https://www.sportskeeda.com/football/news-premier-league-club-good-chance-sign-barcelona-midfielder-loan-january-reports?key4=skfootballtwitter&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  3. It's all on him though, surely?!. At the risk of sounding cut-throat, he's going to be playing for someone so why not us. And if it happens again, it's because he decided to go back to playing, not because we convinced him to carry on playing.
  4. I don't think we have the same rules as Serie A with regards to cardiac arrests and he seems to be actively targeting a move back to the PL, which backs that up. He is convinced he's fit and fine and wants to get back into the Denmark squad for the world cup. The only risk from our side is whether insurance would cover him.
  5. There's not a lot of mention of Christian Eriksen in here but surely he's worth a 1-2 year contract. A world class attacking midfielder for FREE - that doesn't happen very often
  6. Good lad, that's class! I hope someone snaps him up, just not us (or Tottenham)
  7. For a while both clubs were owned by dodgy cockney cunts. Maybe that had something to do with it
  8. Short term, he's fine as a backup. Long term we want young, hungry and quality as understudy in every position.
  9. Plenty in the championship and league 1
  10. Exactly! If you're in any doubt, clear it - if there's no communication from the keeper, take the initiative.
  11. Every club has thick fans but i'd say the thickest of ours would out-thick any others in the league. Leeds would give us a run for our money but I still think we'd top the podium. Some of the shite peddled on Twitter is beyond parody
  12. You simply can't plan for the kind of individual errors our players are making though. That inevitably comes with having shit players. We can work on shape and system as much as we want, but Clark dropping the kind of clangers he does every game, Darlow's crisp packet hands, Shelvey's blind pass, Dubravka's mistakes make all of that hard work redundant.
  13. I'd rather have an ambitious, young, TALENTED understudy pushing for a first team place behind our first choice in every position. Manquillo is the best we've got but he's none of those things
