  1. Not sure how to embed vines, but I think this is exactly the sort of defensive performance we need from a midfielder. snip
  2. I haven't really been following the preseason but how has Aarons been doing, will he be starting games if fit?
  3. As a Brann and Newcastle fan I think I can say with some confidence that this will be a bad move for both parts (well not for Badji, that £££). Bear in mind he just got substituted at half-time in the relegation play-off without being injured. He's plenty good enough for Brann, if we stay up, but nowhere near PL quality.
  4. My god, just think if Deadspin got hold of him. There would at least be laughs. Even ESPN would find meat. If an NFL coach was this bad, Jaws would do an hour of game film analysis and be like Even Gruden would find s*** to hate. Not that I necessarily disagree with the premise that your media are tougher on coaches than over here, but the worst two coaches (Fox and McCarthy) in the NFL are locks to never get fired because of their QBs eventhough they try their hardest to give away games every sunday. Yet the media thinks they're great because Manning and Rodgers finds ways to win in spite of them. Come to think of it it's actually close to similar to Pardew and the season we finished 5th, the media was all over him yet we played mostly bad football and won games through individual brilliance.
  5. I just logged in for the first time in forever just to keep the streak alive
  6. Long time lurker here with a quick question. I'm going to be in Manchester this weekend (a couple of friends of mine got tickets to ManU-Everton and invited me along, obv join in for a weekend of debauchery) but I can't miss the the game on saturday, anyone got any recommendations for places to watch it in Manchester? Bonus points if there will be other Newcastle fans there but as long as I can cheer loudly without ending up like Danny Simpson that's good enough.
