About midds

  1. Would be ridiculously harsh to tag on another 6 months on to the end of his original ban. So it'll probably happen tbh
  2. midds

    Anthony Gordon

Totally deserves the start but he'll be under pressure to perform even though it's only a friendly. Tonight is his big chance to book a seat for the Euros, serious competition to get into that squad
  3. Can't forsee any issues whatsoever in completely changing systems with virtually no notice at all over the course of a summer. Sure they've got it all planned out and are definitely on the ball though, no need to worry, it'll be absolutely fine
  4. The Germany (H) one is nice but only in long sleeves
  5. Just a petulant, ignorant bully. It's all laughs when it's going his way but as soon as he gets a question he doesn't like he flips the switch and becomes an utter, utter cunt of a human being. No need to be that twattish to the random reporter but he's done it so often it's made people hate the prick Delighted they're out Delighted he's leaving Hoping he never, ever comes back
  6. 6.5th was par before the season kicked off imo. We've been dealt a harsh hand this year but that's the standard he'll be judged by tbh. Anything less than par and he'll be asked some very uncomfortable questions at the end of the season
  7. I think a lot of them would actually like that tbh Remove the top 6/7 and the challenge is to be the best of the rest, at least the likes of Palace, Wolves, Everton, West Ham would have a realistic chance of topping that lot. The whole thing is just utterly fucked though, it's a rigged game, the sme teams are winning year after year in all of the top leagues almost without exception. The same teams are making it through to the last 8 of the CL every year and it's just a huge game of pass the parcel between the same teams and that's exactly the way they want it. And they've got it.
  8. But then 19/20 clubs voted for the new rules? I'm sure loads of them don't give a shit because they know they'll never be in a position to genuinely challenge the top teams. Losing £105m+ over 3 years seems preposterous to a large amount of owners, especially when just staying in the PL is worth £130m+ every single year
  9. Claiming it's the actual state of things is 100% true and a lot would agree. But them agreeing is very different to them supporting any action to reverse it, I'm sure a lot would just say 'Yeah, you're right. Tough shit, get on with it'
  10. And every neutral fan in the sport will piss themselves and give the old boo-fucking-hoo. The statement would be 100% correct but thinking anyone would feel any sympathy for us is fanciful. We're universally hated, largely because of our ownership, and a classic example of 'money can't buy you everything'. No one would give a shit, it's an acceptance that the whole sportswashing project is a futile venture. It can never succeed and most neutrals would applaud it
  11. To absolutely no-one's surprise we've been knocked out by a far superior team. They scored their winner in the 13th minute and added the cushion about 15 minutes later, knocked it into neutral and glided home in relative comfort. We were outclassed and out of our depth from the first whistle to the last. If we have a poor run from now until May then I honestly think he's going to be in a bit of bother. Personally I think he's got the rest of this season and at least 20 games next season but I'm not running the club. The club is being run by rich, successful and expectant cunts who don't really do failure or excuses, they're ruthless. We knew this when they took us over and so far it's been mostly roses but a drab end to the season and I think he'll be in a bit of bother whether I agree or not. 4th to (maybe) 10th will not go down well despite all of the legitimate context surrounding it He absolutely deserves another season but I'm getting concerned he'll not get it
  12. This is the equivalent of holding a midget at arms length while he flailes away. We're hanging on and swinging away and they're just containing the situation.
  13. We're just comfortably outclasssed in every single area of the park. It's no one's fault as such, it's just so difficult playing the best team on the planet in their own backyard. Not going to have too much of a pop at this tonight, losing to this lot is no disgrace but we need to step it up a bit and at least try and land a few punches at the other end. We've been a little unlucky with the deflections but they're a class apart
