  1. I've never been to watch Blyth in years but seeing how big a game it was I fancied it tomorrow, after the Gateshead match. Checked the ticket prices and if we want a seat at the Blyth game tomorrow it's £42 for me, wor lass and the bairn or £38 if we want to stand. Seems a bit on the expensive side to me. Will decide on that one tomorrow. Not sure what parking is like at Blyth either cos we'd be cutting it a bit fine.
  2. Thinking about doing a double header tomorrow. We're at Gateshead v Bromley at 12.15 and considering going straight from there to the Blyth game.
  3. The bairn plays for their U11 Academy team and there's 42 of us, a mixture of parents and kids from his team getting the train down. Ticket prices weren't bad at all. Only a tenner for the kids as well.
  4. Secured our tickets for the FA Trophy Final. Hopefully Gateshead can go one better this year! Shame it's the same day as NUFC v Brighton as no doubt that'll have an effect on how many travel.
  5. Aye Bishops are the only team who always used to apply for Promotion (when it was optional) but just never had the team to match their ambitions/fanbase/ground until now. Best of luck to them.
  6. Here's an idea of their growth over the past decade; https://twitter.com/Heatonstan/status/1780194907275112531?t=TkiehEv4KBYZj7ZCPigJyw&s=19
  7. Nowt major. Just heard there'd be a refurb of the clubhouse, better hospitality so they can try to get a few more quid in through that and just general improvements that will constantly be ongoing. They don't want to just stand still.
  8. There's already lots of plans in place regarding ground improvements and the general infrastructure whether they go up or not so definitely exciting times ahead for Stan.
  9. I bought a part season ticket (10 games) after Xmas. Cost me £45. Can't knock it!
  10. That's my plan as well. Might take in a good few of their away games next season if they were to go up and tick off some grounds I'd otherwise never go to. As thing stand in L2 there's only Tranmere I've been to (also Carlisle who are already mathematically relegated to L2 next season) so loads of new grounds to visit.
  11. Gateshead v Aldershot tonight. A win for Gateshead moves them up to 4th which theoretically gives them an easier route in the Play Offs.
  12. We were at Gateshead last night. Slightly fortunate to win as Chesterfield could have been 3 or 4 up before they got the 1st pen and Gatesheads 2nd pen was one of the worst refereeing decisions I've seen this season. Only 879 there last night (average is around 1,200) so not quite sure how that could support a Football League Club should the unthinkable happen and they were to make it through the Play Offs
  13. Admittedly I've only watched him the once this season, against us, but he looked like an absolutely fucking dreadful football player who Looked totally out of his depth alongside Premier League opposition. Only Pritchard looked half decent for them and they sold him for £100k.
  14. I'd be tempted to go back to the olden days (pre 1993) and have behind both goals (safe) standing and seats along the side. Milburn paddocks can stay as all seated.
  15. There was mate. Me and the wife. Bairn sat just begind us. Wish I'd known it was you. Would have said hello!
