  1. It was expected IIRC. I remember his goal against Wimbledon being met with a sort of 'finally!' amongst my mates and it was only his second match.
  2. Well at least this means the handwringing over him leaving will end on 30th June. Right lads? Yeah?
  3. Had no idea Buglass was involved as an advisor. I'm really in a few different minds about what that means tbh. First of all you would think it would mean that the kits won't be boring - on his channel, he regualarly bemoans boring kits, particularly striped ones. On the other hand JonBez on here says the Barnes photoshops are more or less spot on. The other thing to consider is that I don't really like the kits Buglass likes and didn't like the home one he designed on his channel either (loved the 3rd kit and the away one definitely grew on me) I'd be really surprised if he described the kit that we've seen as being 'out of this world' like. Maybe they've got something else up their sleeves.
  4. Yeah I think we'll miss Castore with hindsight like. I'll definitely miss the stripes on the back and the red names and numbers. People talk about the quality as well but in my experience it's been really good, the main thing seems to have been their customer service and delivery time more than anything.
  5. I know it's not the same, that's my point. Howe hasn't cracked, but you seem to be on the precipice of it whenever we have a blip, bad game, bad run of form and start talking like it's the end. Your opinion like, no problem with that, just saying I don't think it's Howe that loses it. I don't think anything you've said has been correct or provable either way yet. Not looking for a spat, I just disagree with you. Mainly because I've seen enough to believe Howe is the real deal and undoing that belief would take a lot lot more than what I've seen this season.
  6. I love how during things like this there are people talking about burning bridges, the relationship between the clubs turning sour...in a multi-billion pound industry that's entire reason for being is competition, on and off the field. We weren't mates when we wanted Lingard and there was a daft take-it-or-leave-it loan fee for him, and we're not now.
  7. KDB has only a couple this season. Think Alvarez and Silva will have more.
  8. The trouble with Brighton is, they try to walk it out.
  9. Give over man, you're the one that cracks and says stuff like this at the first sign of pressure
  10. Rings true again. Lie with dogs and you'll get fleas. Applies to other areas of the club too.
  11. He falls like someone's unplugged him from the matrix
  12. It had all the force of faith healing man. You can see him decide to go down (unconvincingly) as it's happening. He's terrible at it.
  13. It was on Longstaff, of course it wasn't an actual pen. Gust of wind could come in and he'd go down and lose the ball.
  14. Said it ages ago but Liverpool were never contenders this season like. They've never looked really good.
