  1. Yes indeed, which is in North Tyneside. BPV / The Ministry - on the other hand - is in Newcastle. Two separate places.
  2. The railway line is the actual border between Newcastle (High Heaton) to the South, and North Tyneside (Longbenton Estate) to the North. The Ministry is located to the South of the Rail Line!
  3. Yes, as I said above. In fact the railway station was actually built in that location because of the opening of the huge office complex we came to know as "The Ministry".
  4. Almost everyone calls it that, always have, always been wrong. It originally started because 'Longbenton' was the name of the rail station (now a Metro Station) that you got off at to go to the Ministry, and it eventually ended up that some people started calling the place itself 'Longbenton' too ! I don't think that will ever change, but it will not matter as everyone who works for HMRC there is moving into the City Centre soon, into 'Pilgrim Quarter', see attached . . .
  5. Definitely, immediately, instantly . . . go directly to . . . S U N D E R L A N D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. The 'Ministry Site' where HMRC currently have their "Newcastle Regional Centre" at BPV (Benton Park View) is not in Longbenton - though it is very often "called" Longbenton. BPV is in the High Heaton area of Newcastle, whereas Longbenton is a housing estate in nearby North Tyneside.
  7. We were, we were, there were 'a few others' (Whitley Mag was one) but we were in a much ridiculed minority back then. However, the future is ours !!!!
  8. Why would you think that? I would think that the club wants and expects them to stay till the end of their contracts and then to renew them. Goodness only knows what other great players will have joined us (and them) by then. There seems to be a problem, a genuine problem, with people adapting to the club that we now are. Darren Eales target audience for the "FFP rumours" was not our own supporters, it was to get a wide-ranging debate going around the EPL about FFP. He has succeeded.
  9. The concept invented by Sky is the "BIG 6", not the Top Six. At any given time the Top Six in the league will be made up of different teams. It is the BIG Six the idiots talk about, or the "Sleazy Six" as I think of them !!
  10. I speak in a VERY condescending way to any "Big Six" fan I come across, explaining that they used be the Big Six, but that the writing is on the wall, and soon we will be the "Big ONE" and they will be scratching around for crumbs underneath us !!!! While what I say to them is definitely, and obviously, TRUE, I am a little bit ahead of the curve. But I think we are only three or four years of steady (but fast) progress away from that. We will be the B I G - O N E !!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Who cares, Eales said we may sell some players for FFP, he never said "BIG" players, don't forget. Very clever bloke Eales, he really started a national debate about the ludicrous nature of FFP!
  12. Of course, just like last season, it would NOT have been "over" achieved . . . other than to the Southern English based 'pretend-national' Media of course, that some appear to get brainwashed by.
  13. Selling Miggy and/or Callum Wilson would more than satisfy the need, when added to the Champions League money, the SELA money and the Adidas money that would give us a LOT of capability (in our y/e 30th June Accounts) to spend in this summers transfer window,
