  1. We're the same rules in place ? If not then it's more than just spending more then others.

There's other ways of invreasing revenue from the ground making a 7 day facility for one. Better quality on match days (food and drink rather than the crap beer and pie we currently have) and in more space so more people use it. I know these should be done even with a new and bigger stadium but for me personally a new ground ultimately would be that, a new ground that I have little attachment to. I've been going to SJP since the early 70s and seen it evolve. Re your 2nd paragraph, I disagree, the size of the ground wasn't much of a draw, the potential of the fan base was the draw.

Can you only grow through capacity ?

Do you think that's all it will be ? The Stack is temporary and they own that land, could it be a 7 day use facility of which match day use and capacity is only part of it. Shepherd/Halls idea of a casino/hotel adjoining the stand idea may be nearer the mark.

There's a siding between Monument and Manors where they can switch lines.

That's 10mill from those 25games. There's another 340 days a year to make money from whatever is built there.
  7. 80s casual classics. Ordered a few things from there with no complaints.
  8. Wasn't the Hearts thing because they had Australian players there that he knew from the international set up and thought it would help him acclimatise even if he didn't get much game time to start with?
  9. Nope ! Can't bring myself to do that.
  10. Wouldn't have thought so but others would be in the same position with their clubs not wanting them to take up positions until after the window. If we limit ourselves to those out if work currently we are cutting down the possible field of candidates.
  11. I'd still doubt we'd let him take over before the summer transfer window closes. If so it would be top Dollar

We need him for Saturday to smile down on the Spurs fans from the screen after scoring his second. One of the stand out memories of last season I want repeated.
  13. We played in London and LNER were on strike, Sunderland played at home and Northern were on strike. I'm all for making it better for fans I just don't get why only one game is changed because of train strikes
  14. Yeah it is but why just them?
