Yep. Any solution which means we can't build a stadium which can bring in the same income as the Emirates or Spurs new ground means we'll always be at a permanent disadvantage. Man U is still a bigger name than Newcastle, for players who don't have local ties, there is some extra prestige in saying you're a Man U player. I'd like to think we are still getting this done, but if he's a free agent and there's one of the cartel clubs interested, then it would be daft to think it's a done deal.

It will end up being more like £10-12 million if the Maxi sale to Saudi was anything to go by. For us to be able to get £20m would probably need an offer of something similar from a club outside of Saudi to justify it.
