  1. Well that would be remarkably petty Just another transfer to increase my utter disdain for that club.
  2. Can't say I'll lose any sleep over this, but would have been nice to go through a summer without being done over by fucking Liverpool again. Have the feeling we've been used a little here, but we've got to start doing business quicker.

I don’t mind the kit as something a little different. Definitely looks better on the players. I’ll wait until it has a sponsor. The pricing of the other stuff is daft. Sadly £100 is about par for the jacket, but the black shirt should not be £80. Ridiculous. Shame as I really like that and would purchase if it was closer to £50. £25 for the t-shirt that matches the jacket is alright. Quite like the train seat/carpet sample pre-match top , but again the pricing for that is absurd.

The jacket is sensational. That's going to sell out in a hurry.
  5. 39,188 I was in Tier 6 so that's better than I thought tbh.
  6. Going purely off highlight compilations, his positioning stands out as being a big plus. Encouraging as that's often been a frustration with Pope. It's a lot given the league he's being playing in, but I don't think it's that much of an issue given his age and the potential for his value to increase. The likes of Lammens and Roefs have come from smaller (albeit both top-flight) leagues and done well. Hopefully this lad can too.

Linked with Racing Santander LB Jorge Salinas. Barca and Atletico also keen apparently, so seems an unlikely one. https://as.com/futbol/segunda/pelea-de-champions-por-jorge-salinas-f202606-n/

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Same thing is being reported in the Udine local paper, so this person/Twitter bot has probably just nicked it from there. “The market is in the spotlight on Arthur Atta. The French midfielder has many admirers. Naples and Galatasaray are joined by three Premier clubs. The Messaggero Veneto identifies them in Bournemouth, Brighton and Newcastle who seem willing to pay 30 million pounds, about 35 in euros, where Udinese would like at least 40.” https://www.udineseblog.it/udinese/rassegna-stampa/messaggero-veneto-tre-club-della-premier-allassalto-di-atta/
  9. Good fee. It's all been a lot less ugly than the Isak situation and just generally easier to swallow. Hard to label losing a 17-goal forward (albeit with a lot of penalties) a positive, but from a purely business sense it's a good start to the window.

"Sources in France suggest Reims goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen is close to agreeing a deal while Newcastle have held talks with Monaco over a move for Senegal midfielder Lamine Camara."

Bid submitted for Viery, according to this Gremio journalist. No idea how reliable.

Howe was never likely to answer that question any other way. It doesn't help him to come out and say that we're definitely looking to sign a striker, especially when there's no guarantee that managing to sign a good one will be straightforward. At least two of who we've got up front will likely be staying anyway, so there's no point publicly saying anything that might not go down well with those players.

    Harvey Barnes

He's the best finisher on team. Would be madness to even consider selling him in a summer where Gordon is almost certainly leaving. Don't really care how old he is, we have very few consistent goalscorers.
