Chelsea seem to be treating the front of shirt like a premium asset they don’t want to undersell, and using short-term or delayed deals rather than locking into a lower full-season sponsor. In theory that can make more money, especially if the club’s profile rises mid-season. In practice, it can also backfire and leave money on the table.

Am I missing something obvious here? Is the shirt for sale with no sponsorship on it? Why are people moaning if so?
