If we have to sell another purple to fund this summer’s rebuild, my first choice would be Tino. But if it’s a choice between Bruno and Tonali, then Tonali has to go. Was fantastic the season before last, average last season, and had the feeling that he’s been wanting away recently, so get a good fee and reinvest without a drama. Someone like Camara looks like he might be a better fit in our system anyway. (Plus Tonali really isn’t what Spurs need, they need someone in midfield who can pass the ball and that’s probably Tonali’s biggest weakness)

I think it’s more likely that Hall was disappointed with how the team performed last season and might be looking elsewhere rather than because he was dropped for a couple of games. There were several games last season where he was visibly really frustrated towards the end

We sold Gordon for £70m, and I'm pretty sure Hall would be rated higher within the club than Gordon was (or he should be at least). He's also 4 years younger than Gordon and has 3-4 years left on his contract. £50m would be a joke

Does the prick ever report anything for us in a positive light? It's always "Newcastle can't do the deal" or "Newcastle will have to sell x, y and z". Even reporting the Jaouen deal he was just like "the deal's happening", no HERE WE GO and emojis all over the place. Yeah I think I read it's a record fee received for York. I don't think the gap between National League and League 2 is that big, so if they invest it well they should give themselves a chance of a strong season. Talk from the owners is that they want to go for promotion again next season

The couple of York games I went to this season he was the standout player who looked a class above the other players on the pitch. National League level admittedly, but looked like he could play at a much higher level
