Norway's first World Cup song was such a banger it's still the de-facto anthem for the men's national side in footy:

If my very rarely-online arse gets off with the two match delay and that my guesses for end of tournament won't end up being so spot on that the tiny less-than 24 hour window I'd have had getting insider info about those things come into play... which they won't, as they'll be way the fuck off as per always Anyway, if not for competing then for my own sheer personal enjoyment torturing myself (in the event I'd have done well) looking at what could have been, if only I'd been as always-online as I used to be when I was but a wee lad Winner: Norway Silver Medalists: England Golden Boot: Haaland Number of Red Cards: 5 England Knocked-Out, When? Final Round 1 - deadline Thursday 11th June @ 20.00: ••• Mexico 2 – 0 South Africa* South Korea 1 – 1 Czech Republic *see spoiler for what I could have won ••• Round 1 - Post-deadline Thursday 11th June @ 20.00 (but hopfully still acceptible - the two ties above): ••• Canada 2 – 1 Bosnia and Herzegovina USA 3 – 1 Paraguay ••• Qatar 0 – 2 Switzerland Brazil 3 – 2 Morocco Haiti 1 – 1 Scotland Australia 1 – 1 Turkey ••• Germany 2 – 2 Curacao Netherlands 1 – 1 Japan Ivory Coast 0 – 0 Ecuador Sweden 1 – 0 Tunisia ••• Spain 3 – 0 Cape Verde Belgium 2 – 0 Egypt Saudi Arabia 1 – 1 Uruguay Iran 1 – 1 New Zealand ••• France 2 – 0 Senegal Iraq 0 – 5 Norway Argentina 3 – 0 Algeria Austria 2 – 0 Jordan ••• Portugal 3 – 1 D.R. Congo England 3 – 1 Croatia Ghana 2 – 0 Panama Uzbekistan 2 – 2 Colombia ••• *

I'm genuinely grateful to have been lucky enough to have grown up and lived through a period of time where the country I happened to be born in have had a genuinely good, kindhearted and wholesome King. Especially given the historical record of Royals and their extended family throughout history throughout the world... That said, I also acknowledge the fact my opinion about the King of Norway may be rather biased given the fact I've met him on several occasions and that he's visited my parents farm and sat in the same sofa I'm sat on right now as I write this We really, really, need to abolish the monarchy when the sad day comes that King Harald inevitably kicks the bucket, though. All the others in the direct line of inheritance, and their partners, are all accursed heinous fucked up psychopathic people – like the majority of all royals throughout history. We lucked out having one of the rare good ones, that's for sure

Mental. I'd have relegated them and nulled all matches played against the club for the other teams and continued the season with the table as it'd look without any Southampton fixtures affecting it. Yhey've cheated and fucked up an entire full season for all of the 23 teams that followed the rules. The punishment is far, far, too lenient. It's not just the play-offs they've fucked up, the knock-on effect could well have relegated Oxford and Leicester.

Wrexham apparently considering legal action against the EFL to have the play-offs replayed from scratch with them in it.

I assume there'll be a knock-on effect trickling down the league with several clubs going after Southampton. I mean, just for starters, their cheating will have cost Wrexham the chance of a fourth successive promotion through the play-offs and arguably had a direct effect on the results eventually leading to Oxford's relegation. The unbeaten run Southampton went on appear to coincidentially have begun just at the same time Southampton admitted to starting their spy operation Personally I think a -4 point deduction for next season is too lenient. They should have been given -3 points for each fixture they played this season after they admitted to starting their spying.
