For the 20 minutes we played with three central midfielders we were fine and in control. Ancelotti made two great changes at halftime and then took Paqueta (rightfully so) for Cunha and we lost a midfielder and handed it back to them. Thought defensively Brazil were fine, but this reliance on Raphinha and Vini doing something from nothing won’t always work. Would’ve taken 1-1 before the game fwiw despite the performance being far worse than I expected. Hope to see Endrick against Haiti, could be his coming out party.

Brazil going into a World Cup without a rightback feels off. That being said, very happy to see Ederson getting a chance.

Brazil looked so poor in the first half. Midfield two of Casemiro and Bruno doesn’t work and Panama were the better team until he changed the tactics in the 2nd half. Danilo (ex Nottingham Forest) and Paqueta with Fabinho behind worked far better as theyre far more dynamic. One friendly to go but have a feeling Bruno could potentially lose his spot to Danilo if not before, during the World Cup. Danilo is playing extremely well and looked quite the player before his leg break.

Agreed with almost everything except Luiz Henrique. An absolute baller and should be starting at the World Cup. Only seen him in the yellow, but every time he plays takes the piss out of the left back. Probably the best player in a yellow shirt in the past year.
