I hated in the stadium at Scotland match last night. They blasted music and did a fancam, had cheerleaders, it totally disrupted the momentum of the fan atmosphere as well as the game.
If Scotland finish third we play the winner of group A, E, or I. I had assumed it was random which, but apparently we’d have a 70% chance of E, 30% chance of A and virtually nil of I. Does anyone know what determines this?
Had a great day but I was certainly disappointed with our performance. Having said that I can see us doing better in the next games - when the ask and expectations are very different, we were nervy as fuck. I don’t think another point is beyond us.
Coudnt think why we felt so high and far from pitch considering how close to ‘the front’ I was. Wasn’t til I caught a glimpse on the big screen there was a big block below us.
We were saying how the stadium looked much bigger than only 13k bigger than SJP from the outside. Realise now that’s why - also big thick corporate blocks below the top tier adding a lot of height
I dreamt last night that we beat Brazil. But the winner was an Eidur Gudjohnsen own goal and he was wearing a Barcelona kit so take it with a pinch of salt
Maxi was clearly limited as we got better but he still did well overall in the Eddie team. He was brilliant in that 3-3 with Man City.
And what a joy before that when football seemed so joyless
