Big Geordie

Just watched the highlights for both games. Ivory Coast - good win for them, but the woodwork took some hammer! And Sweden - The Rat looks to be coming back into form. But - what a fantastic two goals from the young lad - belter finishes.

Again - enjoyed the game. Curacao gave it a good go and levelled the match, but the extra nouse and experience shone through in the end. Havertz - great finish for his 2nd. But - the boy is still a cunt.

Just watched Scotland game earlier - did what they had to. Getting the win was the most important - performance was secondary. Was never going to be a walkover - Haiti played well and looked really dangerous on counter.

Heading to my sisters sharp-ish in the morning - gonna watch the game 'live' with my 12 year old nephew (my sis is recording it) Making the effort as it's the first WC he's really into. No phone or internet until after the game is finished. Oh - Scotland shirts at the ready. My dad is half scottish, so bought into that (only found out 2 years ago)

Been an intriguing first half - Brazil rather pish, but bailed out by Vini Jnr. Morroco been impressive.
