About r0cafella

  1. I have a lot of time and respect for you as a poster but I don’t understand your point. Why are you disappointed in the club? We can do absolutely nothing about this situation, his head got turned by an underhanded approach. Let’s revisit it shall we, Man United were leaking they wanted Ashworth before the takeover went through, they went directly to Ashworth who leaked to them how much we paid Brighton for him, they they lowballed us on what we paid Brighton to buy him out or both his notice period and his gardening leaving. They did everything they possibly could to make sure his exit was going to be as difficult as possible. Now contrast this with how we got him, we maintain an excellent relationship with Brighton as we handled things in a manner amicable to all parties, AS didn’t go pissing and moan on SSN about gardening leave. I get your frustration, it feels like a setback but I’m genuinely happy, I don’t want snakes working for us it’s more about your dedication to the cause and commitment to see through your own 5 year fucking plans than it is “loyalty”.
  2. Indeed, but you have to factor the money paid to Brighton against the work her did prior to his feature. Personally, I’m happy with how this has played out, the grass has been cut and the snake has been exposed.
  3. Yeah I don’t think they are financially in a position to do so either so wouldn’t meet the bar. I reckon he’d go to; Liverpool; City, Arsenal and PSG. realistically (Arsenal probably isn’t until after July) these are the ones who I could see being after him.
  4. Instead of working I’m sat at the office pondering who the closest profile to Freeman is, and it appears to be Giles at Brentford, quite surprised given that we haven’t been more heavily linked to him, especially as he’s one of us anarl.
  5. I’m of the opinion if someone meets his clause he’s off. Unpopular and depressing I know.
  6. Aye Bruno is that good the speculation will never go as long as he’s our player.
  7. It’s not ideal no, hence we must get the next appointment right. I don’t expect us to lose out financially though I expect they will end up paying more than what we did. Ultimately our options are to accept the offer with is obviously so low it’s more of an insult, or make him prune his garden, easy choice.
  8. And @Unbelievableshould know better. We don’t like Manchester United anyways it’s fuck them, and this is some just desserts for how they tried to bend us over for Lingard. and finally, who gives a fuck about what Manchester United fans think of us.
  9. We are missing out, but what can we do exactly? He wants to go and has proven to be an absolute snake in the way he went about it. Leaking confidential information to our rivals is beyond the pale. Of course both the club and the fan base are going to be fuming and wondering what else he’s let slip. Ultimately I expect we will get paid and will replace him with someone who is more of a transfer expert. My concerns are more our youth set up and the amount of cronies we have.
  10. Don’t count on it. Manchester will want to wait for the Arbitration. PL AGM should be spicy though.
  11. Hope we got our money up front for these games, they will be chasing us out of AUS on the back of that line up.
  12. We will be getting paid for services off them, either that or he’s on ice for awhile. Absolutely no point crying over spilt milk, we have to regroup and do better. Hiring Ashworth has proven to be a mistake.
  13. I actually don’t think we do; especially if we are splitting his role. Nobody wants a person like him at the club who have zero loyalty and always looking for the next job.
  14. Ratman has already outed himself as a penny pincher, so Manchester will definitely let this go through arbitration.
  15. We would probably want to peddle him if we got an upgrade mind, FFP and his age sees to that.
