When we signed our second choice keeper before the window officially opened we were all convinced we had deals ready to go quickly, how wrong we were.

People need to wake up, just because it's not Ashley running the show doesn't mean the club is suddenly infallible, we look more and more incompetent as time goes by, we've fucked around haggling over pennies and left ourselves open to a hijack, who's specific fault that is behind the scenes I don't know but we aren't acting quickly or decisively enough and are being punished again. Lessons haven't been learned.

Whoevers fault it is, (it's ours) it's just another negative in a sea of negatives, nobody at the club have doing their jobs properly for some time now, it's a mess from top to bottom.

Does this mean if he absolutely smashes it from day 1 they could buy him back in January? I don't like the sound of this deal it makes us seem small and weak, only worth considering if the release is at least double the transfer fee, but I just don't like it at all.

I think if anyone better than ourselves in a team where he won't be scapegoated with Dan Burn out of position favoured ahead of him and is offered 200k a week he'll push for the move, and I wouldn't really blame him.

Could we not have found out about this before we entered negotiations isn't that usually common practice nowadays? Especially if the deals have been lined up for months? It could be bollocks though I suppose, the same sources were all saying it was set be announced yesterday.
