You're not wrong but it just goes round in circles and everyone set their stall long ago. Any level headed individual doesn't want clubs to be owned by nation states or adjacent nation state actors, being able to spend 3 billion a window. On the same token clubs that were 'allowed' to build revenues on historical success shouldnt have carte blanche to spend 5x everyone else season on season either, regardless of what the PL wants as a 'product'. No I don't know the answer and frankly I doubt we'll ever get one.
