  1. A boring 1-0 victory would be great! Not just in terms of the result but I'm not sure how much longer I can physically take the heart in your mouth style of Newcastle United!
  2. Agree with the posts saying that we have a chance of winning but would take a draw. I would like to see us have a real go at this one though - set up like we did against West Ham and Stoke at home even though we're at their place. Really don't expect us to do this though and no doubt Rafa knows what's best much better than I do!!
  3. This. I fully expect that most managers will already be planning for the next game too (maybe not some of our previous lot though) but Rafa is so good when it comes to talking to the media. Saying something - in my opinion - as obvious as this just keeps the momentum going for the lads and keeps drilling home the message that we can't afford to take our foot off the gas. It also just helps the media around us report something good and positive in addition to the win yesterday to keep the feel good factor going.
  4. He admitted in his post match interview that he thought he should have been better with the goal. In reality, I can't really think of too much that he's done wrong so far this season. However, I just can't seem to shake the fact that I'm not totally comfortable with him. I don't think that it's because he makes me particualrly nervous or anything, but if you look at other keepers in the league, it seems like you have to do something special to beat them (look at some of the saves Butland & Fabianski had against us in the past couple of games for example). On the other hand though, with Rob, although he's rarely going to make a massive error, if you keep testing him, it feels like you've always got half a chance.
