  1. Arsenal are hugely expensive to watch, have won next to nowt in a decade and the manager is unsackable in a way that just wouldn't happen at Manu, city or Chelsea. If you're a ST holder there and you see nothing really changing yet the club still performing very well financially then I think you've got room for complaint. The lesson for me of the Pardew years is we shouldn't really tell another set of fans how to feel about their club, unless you're living it you don't really understand iyam
  2. Doesnt that to all intents and purposes already happen in cup games though?
  3. Can't see him walking away from Rangers before the EGM in a few weeks. Why would he? He controls most of the club with no more than 10% of the shares. As for jacking season tickets in, if you haven't done so already and there is confirmation this week that Demi Garde (or similar is coming am not sure why you would? Having (mostly) suffered the Pardew years why would you jack now when the new lad comes in?
  4. Adrian Durham annihilated him last May too. Been a bit quiet on him this season tbh but there are some pundits/commentators out there who know the score. Absolutely none of them are ex players or managers though.
  5. Think I read somewhere last night that Gomis from Swansea is top of their list next month.
  6. Their most recent spell in administration was 2010, promoted 2 years later....that's 2 seasons of premier league loot. Are they thinking its wiser to put together say a 10million package on a new manager (compo+salary) rather than spend a lot more than 10 million on new players in January?
  7. Is it Collymore?....are you going to be asking him for an apology for asking for an apology from us after we beat West Brom? BBC radio newcastle mate. BG calls in on a regular basis. I see...if you hear one of our lot on talk sport uttering the immortal phrase "I'll accept your apology now you jumped up woman beating ponce" you'll know I got through I can't suffer the media when it comes to NUFC I'm afraid. Well Caulkin aside. Yeah fair one, no one has ever really said that we're being run for the benefit of sports direct and nothing else. Right on cue, Savage has just said that he thinks Pardew is doing a good job. Kill me now.

  10. There was a pic like that on here showing a similar scene from La Coruna, any chance of some kind soul putting that up too?...cheers Just to echo the sentiments of us all, RIP two great lads and condolences to their families.
  11. Giggs. The senior player, not a repeat post. err...isnt Giggs a coach as well though?
  12. Fergie was coached at a boys club in Glasgow in the 50s by Moyes's dad. Moyes jnr is going nowhere, his appointment is an old pals act. Would the manu board of 2004 have appointed Alan Curbishley if Fergie had carried out his threat and retired then?...because thats basically what Fergie instructed them to do last summer.
  13. This. Apathy rules though. The best way to get rid of Ashley is terrorise Sports Direct and it's share price. It's the only language he understands.
  14. Because if there is something in it and the paper in question has proof, it will be the same paper who will run the story anyway whether the person in question has come out to his folks, or his employers or indeed wants to or is ready to in general. No one is allowed a private life in this country. It's called "press freedom".
