  1. I'm a member of that group as well, and watch the matches with some of them (although most that comment on the group aren't people who go to Legends) and it's fucking grim at times! Plenty who thought Pardew's hands were tied, that we should be happy with mid-table, that graft comes before creativity, etc. Probably about 80% moron in both the Facebook group but I can't be arsed to even argue with them as the stupidity drives you crackers. Probably won't cut them up into little pieces like haha!
  2. Played (and scored several times) against Ben Alnwick who was mentioned earlier and also Matty Pattison was in the same Gateshead league playing for Redheugh. Played up front with Richard Brodie who has played for York, Crawley, etc. and is now at Gateshead.
  3. I think there's lots of good ideas here but I'm really keen on the idea of a tournament. It could be contested by Newcastle, Barcelona, PSV and Porto and the venue could alternate between the four teams every year, or maybe other year. (Yes, the choice of teams rather than Ipswich/West Brom/Fulham is because the trips away would be class)
  4. I understand what you're saying about it being against regulations and I can't argue against that fact. The main point for people sitting there, though, is that it is pretty much 100% of people in the area stand up and there are no problems amongst fans (i.e. getting in the way of other fans) as everyone seems to want to stand up. Also, unless it was just a throwaway comment that you don't want to stand by, your comment about it only being poor/scummy people sitting there makes you ignorant and makes you come across as extremely unintelligent. The 'singing section', as mentioned by others, is on the whole people who used to sit in the main part of Leazes Level 7 who were moved due to the new away section. The club set the prices for this new section; are people going to request to pay more for sitting there?!?
