Converting old pictures to digital

Anyone know of some cheap services for this?  I could buy the scanner off Amazon then return it when I am done I suppose.

Thanks

For what you would pay for the scanning you might as well buy a printer/scanner for the lesser price and keep it. I recommend a HPOfficejet 7510 which will set you back £50 (even less if you shop around) and it has a splendid scanner to it. Plus, with your own digital scans, you can post process them too (get rid of creases, scarring etc).
