Which Football Tops Do You Own?

Wish there was a which football tops do you own thread, as I've got some crackers from the 80's, including original Umbro 83-85 home and away shirts. Passed some original Bukta tops down to my son too.

One of my happiest memories as a kid was coming in from school and seeing that hanging up in my wardrobe with Lee 7 on the back. Wore the rash on my neck that it gave me with pride. We only wore it once as well against Sheff Wed away.

Aye, even in my memory I thought it was 0-0 until I re-watched one of my Black and White videos again years later. You're right though, the blue asics one in-particular turned you into a walking Van de Graaff generator.

Was this ghe official unveiling of these kits? I was 9 back then but seem to remember this was the photo of the new kit but can't seem to remember how or where I saw it.

Bought it from the snides market in KL. Got the 2009 national team shirt from my first visit too.

Given away a few of mine. I used to buy strips from a place in Letchworth in the 80s. Still have my Spurs 1980-81 shirt from when I was a kid and the yellow one from the 1982 final, plus assorted Spurs kits from the last 35 (Jesus) years.

 

Still got Boca and River Plate original Adidas shirts from the 80s, plus an Australia away shirt from the early 90s (I think).

Got a nice Fiorentina home shirt from the 80s too plus a non-descript Orient one that mainly means something because Alan Comfort wore it.

 

For some reason my all-time favourite kit is a purple Kappa Spurs away one. Probably because I used to look good in it. The days of me looking good in a skin-tight Kappa kit are long gone.

Have a number of Newcastle shirts from the last 20 or so years, both home and away. Also have 5 or 6 England shirts.

The shirt I don't have that I'd like the most is the England Euro '96 away with Shearer on the back.

A couple of recent Newcastle shirts which I don't wear plus '93 Ireland away, '93 Marseille, '06 Marseille.

 

I'd love a river plate shirt cause they always look great. Which is odd, cause if I had to pick a team to support I'd take Boca over them all day.

I love that Sheff Wed one when I was a kid. Probably because it looks like it was designed by one, it's really busy.

Was any of them the yellow with two blue half stripes from the shoulders ? I had that as a kid. Also had Burnley 70's, Everton 70's (really a generic blue with white collar/cuffs), Northern Ireland circa 1982, Argentina 78, Peru 78, Ajax and Penarol early toffs tops, NUFC circa 75 and the first blue star top we had (the last time I had a current strip) Still got in the bottom of the cupboard NUFC toffs 74 style, grandad style very early toffs without badge, and yellow away 74 style.
