Finally...

The Rock has come back to Sunderland? :scared:
Got a vibrtating love egg stuck in wor lass last night. The string snapped to get it out. It was remote control so I kept turning it on, then i realised she was nearly crying. Had to fish it out. Never mind.

I looked the devil in the eye, went home and jerked off. That's standard procedure.

Big, big threads take a decent toll on the database. 25k is usually the maximum recommended that they should grow to, so we're trying to stick to that.

Definitely not just for a laugh.

Should be re-named 'The Ready To Go Thread'.

Probably been answered - but if the old thread still exists does it make any difference? Would understand if it got deleted.
I'd rather live in Sunderland, in fact I'd rather be a mackem full stop

People won't be accessing it anywhere near as regularly so it won't be calling on the database as much. Soon it will be on page 10 or something.
Players come and go, managers come and go, chairman come and go, and even stadiums come and go. But we, the fans, are always here and always will be. We are the lifeblood of this club and our ownership is in our hearts. Nobody can take that away from us!

Aye, but it won't get any bigger if it's locked. That's what Rich is on about.

Their club captain, you know the thug and car vandal, was let loose on TV last night representing them in an interview about the cup game. Disgraceful.
Anyone know when he's due in court to face the car vandalism charges ?

It's not the disk space used by a thread on the server that's the problem really, at least not in isolation. Rebooting threads just means the database isn't digging up 25,000 posts every time someone clicks a particular thread. While the other one is still accessible as an archive of sorts, this one is where the vast majority of the activity will be transferred to now.
