NOFC vs Toon Army Norway Saturday 3rd March (mackems@SJP) 2pm KO
« on: Friday 20 January 2012, 11:00:34 AM »
Hello!
My name is Henrik and i am a writer for the norwegian supporterclub of Newcastle United ( www.newutd.no )
In these days, the club and I,  are planning a supportertrip to Newcastle, and to watch the game against S*underland.
The reason why i mail you, is that myself and other Toon-fans, where hoping that we could play a smal game of football against you guys. Do you have any opportunity to meet some of us in a game a day or something before the match against S'land? :)
We would really like it, and if you have any questions or need more info about us or something else, please contact me. :)

Kind regards,
Henrik Risdal
Toon Army Norway

PS: My English is a little bad, but i hope you understand it! ;)

Awesome! :D
Witch day do you think we should play the match? Some beers at a pub after it, would be really cool!
We are not sure right now how many we are going to be, since so many are waiting for Premier League to select a time for the match. But i think we are going to be like 10-20 people :)

Henrik

Obviously a few things to sort out, like numbers and time of KO for the big boys.

Please stick your name in here if you're going to be available that weekend to play :)

They keep saying their strategy will take several years to implement, I accept this and realise that in the future we may be able to hold onto players much easier if we manage to achieve success without burning cash to get there. There's next to no point in overspending until you're in the s*** to get to Europe, only to fall out of it for several years and potentially enter relegation battles. Be frugal, spend the money wisely but at all times keep a core of good players in the side and try the utmost to create a core which is reasonably stable for three-four years.

I fully expect to get slayed and slated here for being a w***** apologist and maybe I'm wrong, maybe all they care about is lining their pockets and f***ing us over but you can argue it both ways. The haters have a more aggressive way of talking about it but we'll not know who's right until MA's ownership comes to an end.

I swear to god I will wear one if i can come! ...dont be a fag and have a laugh

Also im in and we need to take them for a good night out! -  So I will decide the route

Actually, on that note whatever position Slim plays for NOFC, make sure he can take alot of shots, nearly broke my hand with one in warmup,  I took some shots of Steve Bowey (ex Bristol City, I think he took their set pieces) and Slims had far more venom in them.  Don't think I've experienced such a powerful strike before.

We are planning on attending a stadium tour at SJP on Saturday. The options are 11 am or 1:30 pm. We really want to play a football match against you as well, so it would it be great if you can let us know what time is best so we can schedule everything well ahead.

1:30pm - we can have the football match 11am - 12.30pm and you can all head straight to SJP after the game (showers/changing facilities onsite)

This is why I f***ing love playing with you guys.  One question tho is it one big shower for both teams?  that would be ideal if so

Each room has a small shower set with about 6 shower-heads.
