FNL is addictive. If you get into it you can say goodbye to your evenings.

It's in my all time top 5, no question.

Areet man, you didn't have to sign up to the forum for another way to nag me to watch it.  It'll probably get watched at some point, Twin Peaks comes first though.

Do Twin Peaks. :snod:

Although tbf, we've hit the 'dip' towards the end, and haven't watched for a few weeks. It's generally awesome though.

Aye, we're about 6 or 7 episodes in.  It's excellent, very unique.  I tried to take your advice and concentrate but I can never manage to put my laptop down so I'm slightly lost but sort of know what's happening.

 I tried, you're on your own now.

It's a real shame the way it fizzles out. You can tell they started just making it up as they went along. Because of how fantastic it is at the start, it's frustrating that it doesn't have a more structured ending to it.

House MD will end after this season:

Quote
The FOX medical drama House, M.D. will air its final episode in April 2012, the show's producers announced Wednesday.

Starring Hugh Laurie, 52, Lisa Edelstein, 44, Omar Epps, 38, Robert Sean Leonard, 42, Jesse Spencer, 32, Oddette Annable, 26, Peter Jacobson, 46, and Charlyne Yi, 26, the show has earned two Primetime Emmy Awards since its debut in 2004. (Previous cast members include Olivia Wilde, 27, and Jennifer Morrison, 32.)

"After much deliberation, the producers of House M.D. have decided that this season of the show, the eighth, should be the last. By April this year they will have completed 177 episodes, which is about 175 more than anyone expected back in 2004," producers Laurie, David Shore and Katie Jacobs tell Us Weekly in a statement.

"The decision to end the show now, or ever, is a painful one, as it risks putting asunder hundreds of close friendships that have developed over the last eight years -- but also because the show itself has been a source of great pride to everyone involved."

The cast and crew of House, M.D. "will bid farewell to the audience and to each other with more than a few tears, but also with a deep feeling of gratitude for the grand adventure they have been privileged to enjoy for the last eight years."

Laurie, Shore and Jacobs add: "If the show lives on somewhere, with somebody, as a fond memory, then that is a precious feat, of which we will always be proud."

It was actually House that introduced "proper" US TV shows to me. It's been a good run like but simply put the quality has been declining a bit. It's still enjoyable to watch but I think it's lost its oomph.

Great show, one of my all time favourites, sad to see it go, but I think the quality has been declining slowly over the years so i thinks it is it's time.

Glad its ending as there was little more they could do with the character without totally jumping the shark. Probably a season too long for me.

Finally caught up with this seasons Archer

"Please tell me that's a smoke grenade"

"Ok... it's not though"

---

"All I want is to fight on top of a train, is that too much to ask? The good news is now i'm furious".

Episode 3 is definitely up there with the best for me, so many f***ing good quotes.
"But Italian football can defy the laws of physics; only here does a small pull backwards on the shirt send a grown man tumbling forwards"

Anyone on here watch Criminal Minds, I started watching it a couple of months ago and finally got caught up, I have to say its proberbly one of my favourite show I've watched, the way they make it keeps you wanting to watch it, I can see how they have got an average of 13 million viewers per season for 7 seasons. Great show

Not seen it for ages. It would have the odd good episode, then one that would just make you laugh out loud. I particularly remember the one where one kid fed toy cars to his brother.
Obviously, I'm speaking of a hypothetical world in which there is a greater club than Tottenham.

It was the hilarious po-faced reactions of the team at the end that did it for me.

I don't know a bigger fan of the show than me, but there was a definite lull post-Amber-aftermath. This season's return to form is a House-esque miracle though because once a show as good as House starts to dip, it's so difficult for it to stifle that decline because of the weight behind it... it's finishing so strongly though. This season is doing really well - I don't know how they're doing it, but massive praise to the writers.

Some underwhelming episodes this season imho but as is the case with pretty much all the seasons of House, it has its brilliant moments. Haven't watched the latest one yet but last week's episode, "Nobody's Fault" was excellent. Have to say this though, I'm really finding Dr Park (and Adams to some extent) annoying. Park just seems to be Masters mkII imo (though tbf, she has had a few decent moments). The one good thing about this season though is that it's a marked improvement on season 7 (which also had its share of great moments then too btw, pity there wasn't many).

Post-Amber, season 5 was relatively quiet until House went crazy but it led to one of the best season finales of the show I reckon. This, in turn, led to a great premiere for season 6, "Broken" but then that season tailed off a bit. All in all, it's a shame to see it go but I think the timing to end it after this season is right.
