Honestly, for 5 years or so, this guy was my hero in the NBA.

Honestly, though. It's genuinely baffling how a guy like Lebron cannot/will not take over big games.

He just doesn't have the attitude you want from your main guy. Wade? Wade wanted it. Bosh? s***, even he wanted it. Lebron was just...there.

Crazy stuff.
Do you remember in 2007, when he scored 50 or so points against a vastly superior Pistons team, and took one of the worst teams in the league to the finals through nothing other than his force of will?

What the hell has happened to the guy? He's not been the same since Lewis and Turkoglu were ruining his title in 2009.
Yeah, I was happy Kidd like.

Which makes me think... where all the 'icons' going, man? I know new ones will come in and replace them, just like Jordan, Pippen, and that were replaced, but, man.

Shaq retired.
Kidd will probably call it a day next year.
Same with Nash.

:(:(
I look forward to the next generation of fatally flawed point guards who will inevitably fail to ever lead their team to the title.

Seeing as this is the thread for next season already, let's have a quick reminder for everyone:

Mike Brown is now the coach of the Lakers.
Saw him in Primark with Neil Warnock earlier today

It is impressive that the Lakers were able to get him unwound from the drive shaft of that bus in one piece.

Mike, man. I can't juggle two threads at once, i'm no clown.

Speaking of clowns, your inability to let go of the other NBA thread reminds me of this:

Is there anyway we can get rid of Boozer for this upcoming season?

He is like the Alan Smith of our team.

That is one ugly contract. Was injury part of the reason for the flop season, or is he just past it?

Knicks definitely paid the right "4" last offseason. The Heat and Bulls are already looking to get out from under the weight of the Bosh and Boozer contracts, while Stoudemire has quickly become an MSG legend. :snod:

The cHeat and the Knicks are both desperate for a starting center. Dalembert will probably join the knicks. Miami has to trade for a center.
